Verderg's offshore specialists have designed the Spectral Marine Energy Converter (SMEC) to harness the power in a large body of moving water using power extraction systems.

SMEC's venturi pump draws a high velocity secondary flow to drive a turbine and generator.  This produces large scale marine renewable energy with minimal environmental impact.
